The Story Behind the Product

This cutting board was created with the idea of following the natural character of the wood rather than forcing it into a perfectly regular shape.

The oak board is crafted while preserving its distinctive natural features: grain patterns, knots, variations in colour and small irregularities tell the story of the tree from which it came.

The result is a cutting board with a strong personality that can never be reproduced exactly. An everyday object that brings the authentic beauty of handcrafted wood to your table.

Material

Made from solid oak wood, a timber appreciated for its strength, durability and beautiful natural grain.

The surface displays the distinctive shades and characteristics of genuine wood. Knots, grain patterns, colour variations and natural irregularities are not defects, but unique features that make every cutting board one of a kind.

Handmade Craftsmanship

Each cutting board is individually crafted and finished by hand in our woodworking workshop in Spello, Umbria.

Its irregular shape follows the natural character of the original piece of wood, while the edges and surface are carefully finished to create an object that is both beautiful and practical to use.

The hole at one end allows you to add a cord for hanging the board, turning it into a decorative feature in your kitchen when not in use.

How to Use It

Its long, narrow shape and generous 61 cm length make this board extremely versatile. It can be used both as a cutting board and as a serving board for:

  • charcuterie and cheese;
  • bread, focaccia and bruschetta;
  • appetizers and finger food;
  • aperitifs;
  • desserts and fruit;
  • beautiful centrepiece presentations.

It is ideal for everyday use as well as for creating an elegant yet rustic table setting when entertaining guests.

Why Choose This Product

Because you are not simply buying a cutting board, but a unique piece crafted from genuine solid wood.

The oak, irregular shape and natural characteristics of the timber give every board its own individual personality. Practical, decorative and versatile, it also makes a wonderful gift for anyone who appreciates natural wood, cooking and authentic Italian craftsmanship.
