The Story Behind the Product

Some of the simplest moments become special because of the way we share them. An Amaro after dinner, a liqueur offered to friends or a small toast can become a true ritual of conviviality.

This idea inspired our Amaro serving tray: a piece of solid chestnut wood, handcrafted in our workshop while preserving the natural irregularities, grain and character of the timber.

The two dedicated glass holders add a practical and distinctive detail, creating an elegant little tasting set that can be brought directly to the table.

Material

The tray is made from solid chestnut wood, a timber appreciated for its strength, beautiful grain and warm natural tones.

This is not an artificial wood-effect material or veneer: it is genuine solid wood. For this reason, every piece may feature different grain patterns, shades, knots and slight natural irregularities.

These variations are part of the beauty of real wood and make every tray genuinely unique.

Handmade Craftsmanship

Each tray is individually crafted in our woodworking workshop through several stages of cutting, shaping, routing and careful sanding.

Special attention is given to the two recessed holders for the glasses, which are created directly in the solid wood surface.

The edges are intentionally left slightly irregular rather than perfectly geometric, enhancing the natural and organic character of the chestnut wood.

Handcrafting allows us to work with the individual characteristics of each piece of timber rather than hiding them.

How to Use It

This tray is primarily designed for serving Amaro, liqueurs and digestifs. Place the bottle in the centre and the two small glasses in their dedicated recessed holders.

It is perfect for enjoying an after-dinner drink at home with friends, but it can also add character to the service offered by restaurants, wine bars, farm stays and hospitality venues.

Thanks to the strength of solid wood, it can also be used as a small cutting or tasting board, ideal for serving chocolates, nuts or other small treats alongside your favourite digestif.

Why Choose This Product

Because it is more than just a serving tray: it is a handcrafted object designed to make a simple moment of sharing feel more special.

The solid chestnut wood, naturally irregular edges and artisan workmanship give it a character that mass-produced products cannot replicate.

It is also an original gift for Amaro, liqueur and spirit lovers, tasting enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates authentic handmade objects for the home.

A distinctive gift for birthdays, Christmas, housewarmings, anniversaries or simply for someone who seems to already have everything.

How to Care for It

To preserve the natural beauty of the wood, clean the tray with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it immediately afterwards.

Do not soak it in water, wash it in the dishwasher or use harsh detergents.

As this product is made from genuine solid wood, we also recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to direct heat and excessive moisture.

With proper care, the chestnut wood will retain its natural beauty and character for many years.

From Our Woodworking Workshop to Your Home

This serving tray is handcrafted in our Falegnameria di Spello workshop in Umbria, Italy, where our family has been working with wood for five generations.

Every piece passes through our hands and retains the authentic characteristics of the material from which it was created: grain, shades and small natural irregularities that we do not consider imperfections, but part of its identity.

From our workshop in Spello to your table, a small piece of Italian craftsmanship created to accompany toasts, conversations and special moments shared with the people you love.
